The New Mexico Economic Development Department awarded Solstar Space Company a SBIR Phase II matching grant of $100,000.
The Office of Strategy, Science and Technology has awarded SBIR Matching Grants to eight technology companies with active federal funding to boost technologies in advanced energy,
aerospace, advanced computing, and bioscience, New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD) Secretary-Designate Rob Black announced today.
“Solstar Space Co. (Santa Fe) is pioneering the use of Space Wi-Fi for all types of on-orbit assets.
Solstar provides a secure internet connection between spacecraft and Earth-based payload managers and satellite operators, and enables communications for crewed missions in sub-orbit, LEO, cis-lunar, and lunar surface operations.”
